Registered Nurse - Hospice

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect quality care to patients and families of all ages within a hospice setting, following the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act. Manages a caseload of patients in the service area, coordinating care with the healthcare team to promote comfort and a peaceful death. Travels to see patients in Jackson and Josephine counties, under the supervision of the Hospice Clinical Supervisor and physician orders. Responsibilities Include Assessing patient needs and developing care plans Delivering end-of-life (EOL) care and supporting patient comfort Collaborating with team members to ensure comprehensive care Participating in professional development and maintaining licensure Qualifications & Skills Oregon Registered Nurse License and BLS certification At least 1 year of medical/surgical, acute care, or long-term care experience Experience in EOL care; recent oncology, hospice, or home health experience preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
