This role requires proficiency in operating a range of floor care equipment and following established safety and cleaning protocols.Essential Functions:The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform routine and restorative cleaning of various floor types to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standardsSafely operate and maintain floor care equipment, including vacuums, buffers, burnishers, extractors, and scrubbersLoad, transport, and unload equipment and supplies between vehicles and job sitesMove and reposition furniture to complete cleaning tasksHandle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and regulationsUtilize mobile devices to document completed work and report issuesTravel between customer locations within the local area as required.Additional Essential Functions:Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers with courtesy and respect.Ability to work cooperatively with others.Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism.Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.Ability to contribute to the overall team effort including being consistently in uniform and on time.Ability to pay close attention to small details.Ability to read and write.Physical Demands and Qualifications:Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping while performing floor care tasks.Must be able to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and different facility conditions.Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40-50 pounds frequently.Working knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe handling, use, disposal, and management of floor care chemicals and hazardous waste, including stripping, waxing, and refinishing solutions.Additional Information / BenefitsServiceMaster by Crane IFS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
