Position Overview: Interventional Cardiologist
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our team at the VA St. Louis MO Health Care System, within the Medical Service. This role involves delivering comprehensive, efficient, and compassionate healthcare to all patients, while collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of interventional procedures, including but not limited to balloon angioplasty, stent placement, heart valve repairs, and the insertion of pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Conduct medical evaluations and oversee the management of patients in partnership with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide supervision and educational support to Internal Medicine Residents and medical students affiliated with our institution.
