Facilities Maintenance TechnicianCarmel Country Club is seeking a skilled, dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician with strong carpentry skills to join our Facilities team at our premier private country club.This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can handle a wide variety of maintenance and repair projects. The ideal candidate will have solid carpentry experience along with general building maintenance skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform finish and general carpentry repairsRepair and install doors, frames, trim, molding, cabinets, and hardwarePerform drywall repairs, patching, and paintingRepair walls, ceilings, floors, and other building componentsPerform general building maintenance and preventative maintenanceMake minor plumbing and electrical repairsTroubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the appropriate repairAssist with renovation and capital improvement projectsOperate hand and power tools safely and properlyMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork independently while coordinating with the Facilities teamRespond professionally to work requests and maintain a high level of serviceWork in occupied areas while minimizing disruption to club members and guestsPerform other facilities-related duties as neededQualificationsRequired:3+ years of carpentry, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experienceStrong carpentry and finish-work skillsAbility to accurately measure, cut, install, and repair building materialsAbility to troubleshoot maintenance problemsExperience using common hand and power toolsAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple work requestsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipGood communication and customer-service skillsValid driver's licensePreferred:Experience in a commercial, hotel, resort, or private club environmentExperience with doors and commercial hardwareBasic plumbing and electrical knowledgeDrywall and painting experienceExperience reading basic construction drawingsExperience with preventative maintenance programsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceComprehensive benefits packagePaid Time Off401KUniforms providedOngoing training and professional developmentStable year-round employmentPositive, team focused work environmentCarmel Country Club is one of the premier private clubs in the Southeast, featuring two championship golf courses, tennis, aquatics, fitness, dining, and a 92,000-square-foot clubhouse.
