Mixed Reality Display Calibration Software EngineerThe Mixed Reality display calibration team develops and deploys software for display calibration of Mixed Reality devices. We are looking for a talented software engineer who is passionate about device display image quality and software development for display calibration. Responsibilities include:Design and develop algorithms and production software for the Mixed Reality display calibration in order to deliver spec display image quality and user experiencesCollaborate with both internal and external partners to deploy the display calibration for Mixed Reality device productionAnalyze device production failures from display calibration software perspective, and provide fast fixes and feedback to our team and partner teamsReview and provide feedbacks on incoming display driver and firmware code changes with calibration focusProvide documentation/wiki on developed software and troubleshooting tipsThis is an in-person role, onsite in office and lab, and up to 20% of travel to production factoryRequired Qualifications:BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision or related fields OR equivalent experience.5+ years of professional experience in software development, strong programming skills, C++ and Matlab required, C# and Python desirablePreferred Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communications skills, team playerExperiences in embedded systems, AR/VR devices, light measurement instruments, camera optics, robot and stage motion control, SLAM and common communication protocolsExperience in device manufacturingExperience in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio
