Job Details Location: Drawer Box Specialties - Orange, CA 92867 Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Shift: Day (Monday‑Friday, 14 hour drives with 10 hours off) Summary This position is for a CDL driver. No overnights required. Work schedule is Monday‑Friday. Daily driving requirements up to 14 hours with 10 hours off. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a truck and comply with all DOT regulations. Efficiently manage daily work schedule to ensure on‑time deliveries and load appointments while working within the confines of hours of service. Maintain accurate log book and load paperwork. Effectively secure all loads. Throw and tighten straps multiple times per shift. Work and drive safely in all weather conditions and during daylight and dark hours. Manage COD payments. Qualifications Must have a current Class "B" CDL and a clean driving record. 2‑5 years of heavy haul, local or long haul driving experience. Command of English language is a must. Ability to read, write and speak effectively. Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; basic knowledge of weight and balance. Physical Demands Stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear for the majority of the time (at least a portion of the shift). Lifting Ability Ability to lift: up to 10 pounds, up to 25 pounds, up to 50 pounds, up to 75 pounds, and more than 75 pounds (various proportions of shift). Work Environment Use of personal protective equipment is required at all times. This position will be outdoors and in high traffic areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
