Registered Nurse Circulator - 36 hrs/wk (plus call) - Operating Room

Registered Nurse Circulator – 36 hrs/wk (plus call) – Operating Room Interprets clinical and diagnostic data, recognize the abnormal, and reports to MD/Anesthesia/ODS, or other OR staff members. Verifies completeness of chart, assesses needs of the patient. Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures by initiating nursing care according to the needs of patients; coordinate supplies, knowledge of usage of varius equipment. Maintains a safe, calm, and clean atmosphere. Documents all necessary information, including sponge and needle counts, I.V. fluids, medications, blood loss, and implants. Attends in-services on safety, BLS, ACLS, PALS, required education programs and staff meetings. Rotates “on-call” schedule as assigned by OR Manager. Performs other work related duties as assigned or delegated. License Requirements: Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program. Must have a current professional license.
