Substitute School Nurses

Substitute School Nurse (All Schools) RNs

Salary: $31.83 per hour. No benefits offered. Position is "as needed" for daily openings.

Job Duties:

• Monitoring and caring for students with a vast array of illnesses and conditions, including but not limited to: Diabetes, with and without insulin pumps
• Routine care of colds, illnesses, allergies (including anaphylactic allergies)
• Emergency care/injuries/first aid
• Daily medications
• Working with mental health and special education staff to assist students with various needs

Qualifications:

• Must have current CT RN license and be CPR/AED certified.
• Must have at least one year full-time working experience within the last 5 years prior to application.
