Job Opportunity: Internal Medicine Physician

We are excited to announce a position for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician who is enthusiastic about outpatient care. The ideal candidate will join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to deliver primary care services and may also have the chance to mentor students and residents, primarily serving an underserved community.

This facility is part of a larger health system located in the metropolitan area of Phoenix, Arizona, which includes a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, along with 11 FQHCs throughout the region. Our organization collaborates with a prominent health education alliance that supports various ACGME accredited residency and fellowship programs, including those in internal medicine.

Our FQHCs are eligible for both Federal and State loan repayment initiatives. Currently, the facility's scoring within the system stands at 21.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
• Serve a diverse patient population, focusing on underserved communities.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Valid medical license in Arizona.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

Working Conditions

This position is part of a not-for-profit faculty practice with over 450 healthcare providers across various medical and surgical specialties. Our practice is affiliated with the region's most comprehensive teaching hospital.
