Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery RN

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Travel experience required
- RN licensure required at submission: GA or Compact
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (AWHONN Intermediate preferred)
- Experience with Epic charting system

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and respond to changes in status.
- Assist in vaginal deliveries and C-sections, including postpartum care and recovery.
- Manage complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and high-risk antepartum conditions.
- Conduct triage assessments for obstetrical patients.
- Administer medications and manage IV/infusion therapies as needed.

Compliance / Notes:
- Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per contract; no RTO requests during orientation week.
- Orientation duration: 24 hours; 1 pre-approved time off allowed.
- Compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start; onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Travelers may be required to work major holidays during assignment.
