• n \n \n We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients recovering from acute illness, injury, surgery, or neurological events in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on functional independence and quality outcomes.
• n The COTA will implement individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist (OT) and play a key role in helping patients regain strength, coordination, self-care skills, and confidence prior to discharge.

\n Key Responsibilities:

• n \n \n Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT
• n \n \n \n Assist patients with ADLs including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• n \n \n \n Facilitate therapeutic activities to improve strength, balance, endurance, cognition, and fine motor skills
• n \n \n \n Utilize adaptive equipment and train patients on compensatory strategies
• n \n \n \n Accurately document daily treatment sessions and progress toward established goals
• n \n \n \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PT, SLP, nursing, and case management
• n \n \n \n Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility and regulatory guidelines

\n \n Ideal Candidate:

• n \n \n Active COTA license in practicing state
• n \n \n \n Inpatient rehab or acute care experience preferred
• n \n \n \n Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• n \n \n \n Ability to manage a productive caseload in a fast-paced setting
