Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Med Surg/Telemetry Stroke Unit – Maryland

Start Date: October 27, 2026

Location: Towson, Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time schedule as determined by facility needs, including weekend and on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Active Maryland RN license (verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Minimum 2 years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years stroke patient care experience documented on resume required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours of offer (required)
• Willingness to obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours of offer (required)
• Willingness to complete Basic EKG training and score 85% or higher within 48 hours of offer (required)
• Must be willing to accept telemetry patients as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination required (state recorded; no declinations accepted)
• Complete profile submission including supervisory references from the last 6 and 12 months, discipline-specific skills checklist, and resume with all employment gaps over 30 days explained
