Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Ladgov Corporation is seeking qualified Unarmed Security Guards to provide security services at Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities in Illinois and Indiana.
The selected professionals will help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and VA property through access control, patrols, monitoring, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances, visitors, and restricted areas.
- Conduct interior, exterior, and parking-area patrols.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems as assigned.
- Respond to incidents and contact VA Police when required.
- Complete daily security logs and incident reports.
- Provide professional assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with the public.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to obtain/maintain required state security licensing/certification .
- Ability to pass required background investigation, medical, TB, and psychological screening.
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including 24/7 coverage at certain locations.
