What You ll Do
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye conditionsProvide guidance on eyewear, contact lenses, and vision therapy productsManage ocular diseases and prescribe treatments/medications as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure excellent patient careStay updated on the latest optometric technologies and treatmentsSupport patient education and promote healthy eye practices
What You Need
Required:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degreeValid State Optometry License (Alabama preferred for AL-based practice; ensure licensure approval in applicable state)
Preferred:Prior experience in primary eye care or medical therapeutics (not mandatory)Strong communication and patient care skills
