Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their individual functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-driven methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive capabilities, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside a multidisciplinary group of OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic health care
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers about therapeutic techniques to ensure continued progress at home
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their optimum path

Required Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Essential Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
