Summer Camp Counselor

Summer Camp Counselor
You are applying for the position of camp counselor, which assists the lead teacher in activities, supervises your group of children, and ensures the campers are having fun. This is a great start for those considering entering the field of Education. Support staff assist the camp lead and campers with daily activities. They provide assistance during all activities including field trips and swimming. They play vital roles in facilitating successful transitions, activity setups, and participation in camp activities and games.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school or camp-related environment (preferred but not required)
- Ability to assist camp leaders and campers with daily activities
- Ability to proactively provide for the safety of campers
- Ability to display a positive attitude and develop positive relationships with campers and families
- Must be at least 16 years of age
SALARY: $15+ /hour based on experience
