Part Time Legal Assistant

Responsibilities Review, edit, and update legal agreements including NDAs, insurance claims, subcontracts, and other business contracts Conduct legal research on applicable statutes, regulations, and contractual requirements Assist in maintaining contract templates, document libraries, and compliance documentation Draft summaries, checklists, and redlines of legal documents for attorney review Support due diligence efforts by organizing and analyzing legal and corporate records Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Contracts, HR, Finance) to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies Assist with special legal projects as assigned by supervising attorneys Attend law department staff meetings Draft letters or other documents as necessary Legal research and prepare memoranda Attend meetings with the business units Attend meetings with outside counsel Establish, maintain, and organize document repositories Perform additional assignments as requested Qualifications MUST HAVE Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, OneDrive, Adobe Pro and document comparison tools Strong research and writing skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Tech-savviness and professional email communication. Independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to find solutions with minimal oversight. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $20-$25 hourly, depending on experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors. This range reflects base pay only and may not include bonus, commission, equity, or other incentive compensation, where applicable.
