Role Description The Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Devens, MA. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining EHS programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting workplace inspections and risk assessments, developing and updating safety procedures, and maintaining EHS documentation and records. The EHS Specialist will deliver safety training, support incident investigations, recommend corrective actions, and track closure of findings. This role collaborates closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to foster a strong safety culture, reduce workplace hazards, and promote environmental stewardship. Key Responsibilities Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and hazard/risk assessments Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective & preventive actions Track EHS metrics including TRIR, Lost Time Incidents, Near Misses & Safety Observations Support JSA, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations Investigate workplace incidents and participate in root cause analysis Track CAPA effectiveness and support regulatory/internal audits Drive sustainability, waste reduction, and environmental compliance initiatives Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality & HR teams Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field 2–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, or production environments Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, JSA, risk assessments & regulatory compliance Strong communication, documentation & problem-solving skills Feel free to share this opportunity with your network! #Hiring #EHS #EHSSpecialist #EnvironmentalHealthAndSafety #SafetyJobs #ManufacturingJobs #OSHA #EPA #ISO14001 #ISO45001 #SafetyProfessional #DevensMA #MassachusettsJobs #ContractJobs #J-18808-Ljbffr
