Admin Coordinator

Under the supervision of Outpatient Site Supervisors, coordinates scheduling and registrations of all patient therapy appointments utilizing on-line system. This includes; electronic consent and policies, scanning, accurately documenting cancelations and no shows, checking in all patients, on the correct encounter, arriving and informs appropriate party of their arrival using the AeCis system. Coordinates with the clinicians to verify the schedule is accurate and full and communicates schedule changes and issues. This position is responsible for all aspects of facility communications, e-mail, fax, and telephone. Admin Coordinators communicate with all patients and therapist with the highest level of customer service and aides with any issues. Responsible to verify all patients have a clearance for their therapy session prior to their appointment along with inputting referrals and authorizations. Coordinators must stay up to date on insurance, network and procedural changes and policies.

Requirements:

• 1 year of Medical Receptionist Experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with Einstein preferred
• Schooling preferred
