Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in the Endoscopy/GI specialty under the supervision of the Unit Director. This role involves collaborating with team members and leading shifts to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care functions in accordance with state nursing regulations and hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse to coordinate care and manage shift workloads.
  
  
• 
  Perform advanced procedures, including IV therapy and emergency interventions as needed.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure understanding of care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
  
  
• 
  Continuously monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes or concerns.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current Maine RN license or a compact license.
  
  
• 
  Possess an ASN degree; BSN preferred.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS, ACLS, and IV certification.
  
  
• 
  Have 1-3 years of clinical experience in a related setting.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
