Senior Talent Development Coordinator

Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week (Day Shift) Pay Rate: $40 to $43 per hour Position Overview Mountain View Hospital is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Senior Talent Development Coordinator. This is a high-visibility role where you will partner closely with hospital leadership to support key training initiatives, manage end‑to‑end program logistics, and directly impact our workforce education. Key Responsibilities Program & Logistics Management: Oversee complex, multi-modal training programs (LMS, instructor-led, and blended formats). Manage session setups, materials preparation, learner communications, and complex scheduling. Vendor & Event Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for external vendors and venues. Assist in the execution of large-scale employee recognition events (e.g., service award dinners, holiday feasts, company picnics). Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate directly with hospital leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to map out talent development needs, timelines, and execution strategies. Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the coordination team. Monitor, track, and report on training metrics, budgets, and participant feedback to identify trends. Content & Instructional Support: Troubleshoot learning technology issues and actively contribute to course development by editing, updating, and polishing training materials for clarity and effectiveness. Position Requirements Experience: 3–5 years of experience in learning & development (L&D), training coordination, HR operations, or workforce education. Education: Associate’s degree required (Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field); Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent verified experience. Technical Savvy: High proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and common productivity tools; experience troubleshooting basic tech/scheduling issues on the fly. Core Skills: Stellar stakeholder management, advanced organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage vendor relationships and track project budgets. Bonus Points: Prior experience coordinating large-scale employee recognition events or a background utilizing basic instructional design principles.
