Our modern hospital is equipped with AI‑assisted medical transcription, Avimark Practice Management Software, IDEXX in‑house laboratory equipment, digital radiology, ultrasound, surgical laser, and companion laser therapy, giving you the technology and support needed to practice high‑quality medicine efficiently and confidently. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans. Diagnose and treat companion animals through outpatient medicine, wellness care, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare. Perform surgery and dentistry as experience allows. Surgical experience is welcomed but not required, and mentorship is available. Educate clients on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and long‑term health recommendations. Develop treatment plans that consider both the patient's medical needs and the owner's goals and expectations. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records. Communicate professionally through both verbal and written communication. Practice with honesty, integrity, accountability, and compliance with Mayfair Animal Hospital's standards of care. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA‑accredited college or university. Eligible for veterinary licensure in the State of Michigan and able to obtain and maintain a DEA license. Commitment to lifelong learning through continuing education and professional development.
