We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Schenectady, NY area. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations and ensuring the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. Service Managers are responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, and managing vehicle repair/maintenance work. They drive the sales initiatives of Mavis, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must be at least 18 years of age, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess either (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
