Spine Institute of the Carolinas is a dedicated orthopedic spine practice with two fellowship-trained surgeons and two Advanced Practitioners. We have built our reputation by providing excellent care to our growing community of families and active retirees in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Job Overview
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and hard-working to join our successful practice! As part of a healthcare team, you will focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with specialists to diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses of the spine
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Assist with surgery and hospital rounds (No after hour calls)

Qualifications:

• Experience in a surgical practice or spine care practice (preferred but not required)
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Work well under pressure and understand the unique stress of a busy surgical practice
