HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Brevard, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract About the unit: · Number of Beds -30 · Type of equipment - IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment as appropriate, Pyxis (nurses only) · EMR -Cerner Must have · All RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · RNs with ICU/Stepdown experience · Staff with 1 year med/surg experience is preferred List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · IV starts , CVL, Arterial lines · Foley catheters · EKG monitoring · Wound care Best personality Fit: · Able to function in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
