Clinic Assistant

The mission of the Community Counseling Clinic is to provide free professional counseling, consultation, and referral services to the local community. To achieve this mission, service delivery is guided by adherence to professional codes of ethics and standards of practice. Duties and Responsibilities Provide support to faculty in the area of clinical program development and organization, especially in supporting the operations of the Community Counseling Clinic Serve as a manager of the free counseling clinic helping in the facilitation of the Community Counseling Clinic to plan, implement, and coordinate the clinical program Assist in clinic development, organization and program cohesion within the Community Counseling Clinic and the Counseling program as well as contributing to graduate instruction by facilitating learning opportunities for graduate students within Practicum and Internship portions of the program Work on multiple projects and serve the department in its entirety to provide a wider reach of assistance in this 60-hour clinically-based graduate program Qualifications B.A. in psychology, social work, education or related field Experience in project management (required); having held a leadership position (preferred) The ability to maintain and manage multiple projects Experience in management and online maintenance of electronic data Knowledge of Excel and how to integrate with word processing applications Knowledge of HIPAA compliance rules Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experiences in course management and development (for majors in the program, typically defined as having completed: CSDV 602, 610, 611, 612) Preferred Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online organization Ability to work within a learning management system Must be HIPAA compliant and adhere to ethical standards of the field Front end analysis (including problem identification and program analysis) #J-18808-Ljbffr
