Head of Commercial Elastomers, Americas

Head of Commercial, Americas Region Huntsman is seeking a Head of Commercial, Americas Region to support the Elastomers Business Platform within the Polyurethanes Division in The Woodlands, Texas. This position reports to the Vice President, Global Elastomers and is responsible for the Elastomers P&L in the Americas. Responsibilities Ensure business strategies are successfully accomplished by managing regional Sales and Technical Service teams. Lead resources to align speed of delivery and investments with value‑generation opportunities. Deploy Technical Services to convert new opportunities into sales, focusing on diversification of core markets and profitability. Collaborate with Performance and Marketing teams to draft an annual Sales plan. Align the Sales plan with the Global Elastomers business strategy and budget. Monitor Forecast Accuracy through cross‑functional exercises twice monthly and update management. Engage Marketing, Production, Supply Chain, and Application Development on regional strategic plan execution. Monitor delivery using defined KPIs. Monitor margin quality of Elastomers with Pricing Excellence practices. Maintain and update forecasted volumes to achieve strategic objectives. Maintain sales volumes, product mix, and pricing with market dynamics and competitor analysis. Determine annual Gross Profit and EBITDA plans by implementing marketing strategies. Evaluate growth opportunities in new markets and customers and report to Marketing. Work with Marketing to execute plans based on evaluated opportunities. Identify profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share. Improve professional and technical knowledge by attending networking events. Develop a high‑performance team through leadership behaviors and capability development. Working Environment The Elastomers business spans mature and emerging markets, requiring collaboration across regions and functions to allocate appropriate sales resources and achieve desired results. Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field. Minimum Experience: 15+ years commercial, including 5+ years senior level with major contracts and leading Sales and Technical Service teams. Skills and Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of PU/TPU technology and applications; proven commercial acumen; continuous improvement; cost management; customer intimacy; resilience; cultural awareness; entrepreneurship; handling ambiguity; integrity; interpersonal skills.
