Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Ortho / Neuro

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required (minimum Saturday and Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical, orthopedic, and neurological patients in an acute care setting
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6–7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Participate in weekend coverage on a rotating every-other-weekend basis
• Be available for on-call placement during scheduled shifts if census requires, with an 8-hour call requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license; license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Ability to comply with all pre-start requirements, including completion of facility modules prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical setting
• Orthopedic and/or neurological nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
