Sonographer I

Role: Sonographer responsible for performing general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound procedures. Key Responsibilities: Operate ultrasound equipment, review patient records, position patients, select appropriate transducers, and adjust technical factors for accurate imaging. Identify, record, and label images, ensuring proper documentation and billing. Analyze sonograms, communicate findings to physicians, and maintain equipment performance. Provide age-appropriate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort. Qualifications & Skills: Completion of an accredited Sonography program, with required certifications within specified timeframes (e.g., ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, AHA BLS). No prior experience necessary. Competency in sonographic procedures, excellent communication, judgment, and ability to prioritize. Flexibility and adaptability is essential. Physical & Work Environment: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform transfers. Must have clear speech, vision, and hearing, with awareness of potential hazards.
