PRST is hiring a Journeyman Framing Carpenter (Bilingual Preferred) - San Diego, CA

Are you an experienced framing carpenter looking for steady work with a respected contractor in the San Diego area? PRST is seeking a skilled Journeyman Framing Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and can work independently on residential and commercial framing projects. This role pays $32-$36 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Layout, measure, and frame walls, floors, and roofs

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

• Install wood and metal framing components

• Set trusses, rafters, beams, and structural components

• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment

• Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades on site

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• OSHA 10 Certification

• Experience leading small crews or mentoring apprentices

• 5+ years of framing carpentry experience

• Ability to read blueprints and layout work independently

• Experience with custom homes, multifamily, or commercial projects preferred

• Own hand tools and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights

• Strong work ethic and attendance
