Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN for Float Pool

• Provide care on all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac population
• Manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors
• Float to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels as needed
• Ensure patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation

Requirements of the PCU RN for Float Pool

• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sized facility
