Overview The Senior Accountant role is a key contributor on the Accounting team and will provide direct support in ensuring a complete, accurate, and timely monthly close and account reconciliation process. You will collaborate with members of the Controllership team, finance teams, as well as clinical operations. You will support the day-to-day accounting operations including lease accounting, reversing and non-reversing accruals for various departments across the organization, develop insights into employee spend and policy reviews, generate assumptions and budget expectations for key vendors, as well as balance sheet reconciliations and related journal entries. Responsibilities Assist with managing and completion of monthly and year-end closings including preparation and/or review of journal entries. Maintain accurate and timely accrual actual to budget reports while developing vendor spend expectations. Prepaid and accrual accounting Lease accounting (ASC 842) for all locations and finance leases. Coordinate with accounts payable, purchasing team and FP&A to record monthly accruals timely and accurately. Compile and support external auditors' requests for information and documentation. Direct various projects (i.e. new site implementations, internal control formulation and implementation, process improvements, etc.). Responsible for preparation and/or review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, financial reports, various other financial analyses. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including prepaid and accrual accounting experience ASC 842 lease accounting experience a plus Multi-location accounting experience a plus Private equity experience a plus Healthcare experience a plus Experience with Oracle Netsuite (ERP) a plus Intermediate/Expert Excel skills, and attention to detail required Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal required Benefits & Perks Your health, happiness and your future matters!
