Join our dynamic team at Beachside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a leading provider of rehabilitation and nursing services in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide exceptional patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists

• Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes

• Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical science

• Propose treatment goals and objectives

• Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from the Physical Therapist

• Perform certain aspects of patient evaluation and interventions

• Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programs

Qualifications:

• EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Valid PTA license in state of practice

  • Current CPR and first aid certification

• Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
