LDRP RN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) – Nights

Position Details

• Specialty: LDRP RN
• Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours/week

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP/OB experience
• Must have experience in both:
  • Labor & Delivery (L&D)
  • Mother/Baby (Postpartum)
• Traveler will rotate between L&D and Mother/Baby units
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Required Certifications

• ✅ BLS
• ✅ ACLS
• ✅ CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
• ✅ NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)
• ✅ AWHONN
• ✅ NRP
• ✅ STABLE

Floating

• Required to float between:
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Mother/Baby (Postpartum)

Special Requirements

• Must be comfortable caring for the prison/inmate patient population

Orientation

• Two 8-hour hospital orientation shifts
• Followed by two 12-hour unit orientation shifts

Ideal Candidate

• Confident in managing labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Flexible and comfortable floating between OB units
• Strong communication and patient assessment skills
• Professional and comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including incarcerated patients
