Job Description
We are seeking an Immigration Paralegal to support our permanent residence practice. This paid position is ideal for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience handling green card matters, including permanent residence case preparation and filing support.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with permanent residence matters, including PERM-based and other green card filings
- Prepare draft forms, support letters, and filing packets for attorney review
- Collect and organize client and employer documents
- Communicate with clients regarding case status, document requests, and filing needs
- Maintain accurate case records and track deadlines
- Support adjustment of status and related filings as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 1 year of experience in permanent residence matters
- Experience with immigration case preparation, document collection, and deadline tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Preferred
- Experience with PERM, Form I-140, and adjustment of status matters
- Familiarity with immigration case management systems and Microsoft Office
