How you will impact Smurfit Westrock Carry out preplanned daily shipment organization and billing. Compile paperwork from production and checker/loaders. Review loading to ensure customer expectation achieved. Provide direction for checker/loaders to complete daily plans. Create updated loads as production orders finish Communicate with Shipping Supervisor and/or Production Superintendent about critical orders for delivery. Communicate with carrier to update with plan status throughout the shift. Experience with communication with carrier switcher. Experience with communication with customer service and customers regarding status of shipments. Must be able to do daily, weekly and monthly inventories and update any discrepancies. File completed paperwork. Coordination with off-site warehouse personnel. And other duties as assigned. Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with PC software includes Microsoft Outlook Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheet Must be proficient in Microsoft office Experience and proficient with PCS/Kiwi production system Strong written and verbal communication skills What you need to succeed High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Basic math and reasoning skills Computer proficiency 2+ years shipping/receiving Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and maintain organized work processes. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and other manufacturing conditions. The salary range for this position is $43,500.00 - $72,500.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
