Job Description " Job Number: 262240" Job Title: Claims Adjuster - Workers Compensation Employment Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Shift 1st Shift Job Overview Schneider is seeking a Claims Adjuster in Green Bay, WI to investigate, analyze, and resolve claims and incidents. The claims adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation, and subrogation. Responsibilities Manage initial and ongoing field investigations. Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider. Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim. Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud, and more. Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization. Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider. Attend hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement meetings as a corporate representative. Accurately document all claims activities. Skills and Qualifications Associate degree or paralegal certificate. 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
