Located in Scottsdale, AZ Salary: $20-$25 MIG Welder - Shade Structure Installation North Phoenix, AZFull-time$20 - $25/hr About the opportunity A well-established, fast-growing North Phoenix company specializing in custom shade structure fabrication and installation is looking for a motivated Laborer/MIG Welder to join their team right away. This is a hands-on outdoor role where you'll be part of a crew that designs, builds, and installs shade structures for residential and commercial clients across the Phoenix Valley. You don't need to be an expert welder - some MIG welding experience is what they're looking for, and they're ready to train the right person to grow with them. If you show up on time, work hard, and communicate well, there's a real future here. Room to grow - fast This company is expanding quickly and actively promotes from within. Getting in now means getting in early. The right person who proves themselves can move into a lead or specialty role as the team scales. What you'll be doing- Assist with the fabrication and installation of shade sails, pergolas, awnings, carport covers, and commercial shade structures
- Perform MIG welding on metal frames and structural components
- Work as part of a crew on job sites across the Phoenix Valley - residential and commercial
- Handle general labor tasks: loading/unloading materials, site prep, cleanup, and assisting installers
- Communicate clearly with your crew lead and team throughout the day
- Punctual and reliable - showing up on time, every time, is the #1 requirement
- Good communicator - you keep your team informed and ask questions when needed
- Clean background check - required for all positions
- Some MIG welding experience - entry level is fine, they will train the right person
- Ability to work outdoors in Arizona's heat - this is hands-on physical work
- Comfortable working as part of a team on a job site
- Reliable transportation to get to job sites
