Head of Retail

A leading specialty retail organization is seeking a dynamic, high-energy Head of Stores to lead a large North American retail footprint. This executive will oversee approximately 300 stores across three regions, with planned growth of 5–10 new locations annually over the next five years. The Head of Stores will be a visible, highly engaged leader with a deep passion for stores, people, and customer experience. This individual will balance strategic leadership with strong operational execution, driving sales, profitability, field leadership, and organizational capability across the store fleet. Key Responsibilities Lead Regional Field Leadership, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Store Construction functions. Manage approximately 6–7 direct reports and build a high-performing leadership organization. Drive sales, profitability, customer experience, and employee engagement across the store fleet. Support store growth, fleet optimization, and operational consistency across North America. Partner closely with international leadership to support continued expansion and alignment. Serve as a visible ambassador for the brand, culture, and in-store customer experience. Required Background Senior retail leadership experience overseeing store volumes of 300+ locations . Proven success leading large, multi-region field organizations. Strong background in specialty retail, fashion, lifestyle, or youth-focused brands. Deep experience across store operations, field leadership, visual merchandising, and/or store development.
