Junior Collections Legal Assistant / Collections Specialist
Temp-to-Hire | Plantation, FL | on-site
A well-established Plantation law firm is seeking a Junior Collections Legal Assistant / Collections Specialist to join its growing HOA/Condo collections practice.
GROW YOUR LEGAL CAREER! This is a great opportunity for someone with some collections experience, preferably HOA or Condo, who is comfortable communicating with property owners and discussing outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
Responsibilities- Handle HOA and Condo collection matters
- Communicate with property owners regarding delinquent accounts
- Negotiate and set up payment arrangements
- Follow up on outstanding balances and payments
- Maintain accurate collection files and records
- Work closely with attorneys and the legal team
- Provide professional, courteous, and persistent communication
- Some collections experience; HOA/Condo preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Temp-to-Hire...The plan is to become permanent - like a working interview
- On-site, Monday–Friday, normal business hours
- Competitive salary: $45-55K, based on experience
