In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the mechanical-related systems area.Compensation: Starts annually at $80,000, commensurate with experience.What we offer:A culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision and valuesMedical, dental and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine optionsPTO Plans, PLUS company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% matchOnsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of age30% discount on food and drinks at on-site dining venues, plus additional healthy choice meal options at discounted pricesGrowth Opportunities – grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing ones!Education assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new onesHow you will make an impact:Carry out company policy and duties as directed by the Facility Manager.Supervise and train the engineering staff in the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems.Responsible for the preventative maintenance and major maintenance of Central Plant Machinery.Supervise and train the HVAC mechanics to do preventative maintenance, major maintenance, and emergency calls on all HVAC equipment campus-wide.Responsible for the formulation and implementation of energy savings operations.Formulate a "sequence of operations" to best utilize the central plant machinery.Maintain proper and adequate inventory of spare parts.What you will need:Minimum of 5 years' experience in operation and supervision of multi-boiler and multi-chiller installations requiredKnowledge of computerized energy management systemsMinimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience preferredStationary Engineer license preferredValid driver's license is required if operating Community vehiclesAFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire.EPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire.NFPA 70E certification within one year of hire.OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hirePlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
