Cyber Splunk Systems EngineerDepartment: Govt Customer-ChantillyLocation: Chantilly, VATENICA is looking to hire a Cyber Splunk Systems Engineer. Must have active TS/SCI with CI poly. Position Description:The Cyber Systems Engineer Project Management Technical Support provides support to the customer in the area of Cyber Security. Daily Tasks include, but are not limited to:Work collaboratively with a small team of project manager’s and developers to ensure successful implementation of SplunkCollaborate with the cyber operations group and act as the liaison between the group and developers to ensure Splunk requirements are understood and being met Provide assessments to the customer on the cybersecurity contractor’s program performance.Develop, maintain, and deliver acquisition artifacts to assist the customer in assessing contractor’s performanceAssist in the development of execution reviews, acquisition roadmaps and transition plans Develop briefings and artifacts for acquisition Readiness ReviewsProvide technical recaps of customer meetings with cyber security contractorsWork closely with the customer Lead and stakeholders to execute contractsProvide technical input for the development of acquisition documentation for review and approval by the customer to include: Requests for Contract Action (RCA) packages, RFPs for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and proposal analysis to support negotiation and award activities.Assist in the development, review, and update of acquisition documents to ensure guidance for acquisitions are adequate and current.Assesses contractor performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measuresParticipates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirementsAssist in the development of technical requirementsProduces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officialsAnalyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gapsDevelops strategies to comply with privacy and risk management requirements.Required Qualifications:12 to 15 years with BS or 10 to 13 years with MS or 8 to 10 years with PhD.Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with PolyAble to support customer’s core hours (0900-1500; Mon – Fri)DoD 8570 certification in IAT or IAMExperience with cyber operationsExperience supporting project management and acquisitionsExperience with customer’s Cybersecurity Processes and tools/capabilities to include SplunkExperience in requirements analysisStrong attention to detailTENICA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
