Job Summary:
The labor and delivery unit in Davis, California, is seeking a registered nurse with specialized experience in labor and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent relevant experience, including circulating Cesarean sections, recoveries, and postpartum care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. This position involves working day shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting from July 13, 2026.

• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Fetal Monitoring certification, current Epic charting experience preferred, minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience in labor and delivery, circulating Cesarean sections, recoveries, and postpartum.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience.
• Certifications: All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and in hand at the time of submission.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be available to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. A 7-year work history verification is required, with accurate information provided. Vaccinations including COVID-19 and flu are mandatory. Candidates must include a Sutter cover sheet and two references obtained within the last year.
• Travel & Work Policy: RTO approval is limited to one holiday only. There is a 50-mile travel requirement; locals are accepted at a lower pay rate. All candidates must adhere to the background policy, including disclosure of any background hits or DUIs.
