SHIPPING ASSOCIATE Pridestaff is proud to partner with a leading local print production company located in the Portland area. SUMMARY Looking to fill a Shipping role with the best candidate having skills in UPS and FedEx software, forklift operation, willing and able to assist the team in all aspects, with a positive "can-do" attitude.
PAY: starting at $23/hr depending on skills and experience. More direct and extensive experience will be offered higher rates. SHIFTS: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday DUTIES:

- Pick and pack items for the outbound
- Use digital systems, including but not limited to, RF scanners, UPS World Ship, and FedEx Shipping Manager.
- Consistently move containers of product up to 50lbs manually.
- Safely use a forklift to load, unload, and move product.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
- Understand the principles of stock location and the arrangement of materials
- Packing and labeling items for shipping
- Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements and work orders.
- Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Must support and follow all safety policies and requirements.
- Minimum one year of recent and consistent work experience in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 6 months of recent working experience on a forklift.
- Working knowledge and use of UPS World Ship and/or FedEx Shipping Manager software experience
- Proven ability to safely operate a forklift within a warehouse
- Work experience in an environment that requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Proven record of reliability and a teamwork-focused attitude.
