We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or Registered Nurse IVF Coordinator for our location in Cumming, Georgia . We seek to fill this role with a nurse who will provide excellent and compassionate clinical patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. 

What you'll be doing: 

• Communicate with patients about medications, treatment plans, and test results.
• Assist in ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF, and egg donation.
• Perform exams, procedures, occasional phlebotomy, and administer medications.
• Educate patients on treatment protocols and infertility procedures.
• Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient.
• Support retrievals, transfers, and pre/post-operative care.
• Accurately relay lab results and maintain patient records.
• Coordinate case management and schedule treatments.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Ensure regular attendance and handle additional duties as assigned.

To do this effectively, you'll need the following: 

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of three years Medical Assistant experience, at least two in the field of fertility, or RN licensure with one year experience, preferably in fertility or specialized care.
• Phlebotomy experience, one year.
• Ultrasonography experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, an FDA compliance.
• Understanding of basic reproductive physiology.
• Knowledge of examination, testing, diagnosis, and treatment of reproductive conditions.
