Job Title: Telemetry Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: RN State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Stroke Certification, Advanced Dysrhythmia Interpretation EKG Test Must-Have: Candidates must possess a valid RN State License. Candidates must have both ACLS and BLS certifications. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience. Description: This position requires a dedicated Telemetry Nurse to provide excellent patient care. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs. They will also assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The nurse will work closely with a healthcare team to ensure the delivery of quality care. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates must be proficient in advanced cardiac life support protocols. They should be able to interpret EKG rhythms and respond to cardiac emergencies. All candidates must complete required health screenings and certifications before starting.
