What You'll Do

• Providing total personal care to a bed-bound client

• Assisting with bed baths and personal hygiene

• Providing in-bed toileting and incontinence care, including changing briefs and maintaining skin cleanliness

• Repositioning the client in bed as needed to promote comfort and help prevent skin breakdown

• Assisting with dressing and changing clothing while the client remains in bed

• Providing grooming and oral care

• Preparing nutritious, home-style meals as appropriate

• Providing medication reminders

• Be willing to assist with light housekeeping, including:

  • Laundry

  • Changing bed linens

  • Dusting

  • Vacuuming

  • Mopping

  • General household upkeep
