Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Bethlehem, Quakertown & Dublin PA

Location: Central Bucks & Lehigh Valley

Position Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Requirement: At least one weekend shift per week)

Pay Rate:

• Full-Time: $17.00 – $22.00/hr 

• Part-Time: $16.00 – $21.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Care & ADLs: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) per their profile, including showering, grooming, meal preparation, toileting, and transfers.

• Goal Support & Programming: Implement active treatment plans, behavioral plans, and daily schedules to help residents achieve independence.

• Medication Administration: Assist with medication administration following successful completion of required training and practicums.

• Community & Transportation: Provide safe transportation for clients to medical appointments, vocational activities, food shopping, and leisure outings using company vehicles.

• Documentation & Safety: Accurately document daily progress, report incidents, follow safety/infection control guidelines, and participate in shift hand-offs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 months of experience working with special populations (or equivalent caregiving experience/Associate degree).

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.

• Licensure & Transport: Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs unassisted.

• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, integrity, punctuality, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Location Flexibility: Must be willing and flexible to work across BOTH our Quakertown and Bethlehem, PA locations.
