Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach Provide personalized therapeutic care for residents in senior living communities Requirements Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and personalized care approaches. Holds a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
