Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have two years of experience and hold certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC). Education requirements depend on the state, including completion of a scrubbing program, military training, or certification by a recognized institution.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an OR technician and formal surgical technician program completion.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include setting up operating rooms before procedures, assisting in patient prep, passing instruments during surgery, handling specimens, and maintaining aseptic environment standards. The role also involves post-operation cleaning and restocking of the OR. The position requires compliance with all hospital protocols and safety procedures.
